The Scholastic Book Fair will visit Crocker during fall conferences in
November. All students will have the chance to visit the book fair during school hours. The book fair will be open during
all conference hours. Books make great gifts for birthdays and Christmas. So stop in and shop! All proceeds will go to the
media center to fund special events like our author visit. Thanks for supporting our library!
Birthday Book Donation Program January 2009
 This year we will be introducing a new fundraiser in the media center. It is called the Birthday Book Donation Program.
Families donate $10 to the media center for a birthday book. When the student brings in the donation they will choose a brand
new library-bound book from a large selection of new books. We will place a bookplate in the front of the book the child chooses.
The book plate will have the child's name and birthday so that all the kids who check out that book will see who donated
the book to the media center. The child donating the book gets to check it out first!
This year January
is our Birthday Book Donation Program month. All students wanting to participate in the program will bring their donation
of $10 sometime during the month of January. Notes will go home at the beginning of the month when we return from
winter break. The Birthday Book Donation Program is meant to defray the rising costs of library bound books.
